Pandemic Lighting!
St Andrew’s Prep needed to increase the number of entry and exit points on the school site to maintain safe social distancing requirements during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was apparent that additional lighting and bollards would be required at a gate and a pathway as we entered the winter months. Mark developed a lighting scheme for the gate and pathway. The work was carried out in a timely fashion and his team worked tirelessly through some horrendous weather to make sure the lighting was in place for the start of term. As well as ensuring the school operates in a safe manner during these challenging times, the lights also look fantastic and I have only heard positive feedback. Hopefully the benefit they provide will last well beyond the pandemic!

Moving In
When I moved to my new home in Alfriston, a neighbour recommended Norvett’s good work for my electrical problems. They have been great, I couldn’t have found better. They answer the phones quickly with a real person who understands your plight, not with a recorded message. The staff are friendly and approachable offering advice, quick service and possible alternatives. Their team is very professional, I have used them often and would happily recommend them. Norvett’s Electronics have certainly helped shine a light on my electronic needs!

Rewire
On moving to Alfriston I had the whole of my new house to up date , a very daunting prospect as I had never attempted such a task before. The most difficult part was selecting which trades people to use but I was lucky enough to strike local gold! Brian Huntley Builders, Steve Garner plumber and Norvett electricians were all so efficient and friendly. I really had no electrical knowledge but Mark patiently talked me though the rewire and every item was costed so that I knew exactly where I was financially. Clive and Harry moved in and despite the house being in turmoil they worked proficiently amongst the chaos! I would not hesitate to recommend Norvett Electronics to anyone needing electrical work undertaken.

Dream House
“My wife and I designed and built our dream house in East Dean with the help of our amazing contractors Brian Huntley Builders with Norvett Electronics, who installed all the wiring. As a television Lighting Designer the brief was never going to be run of the mill, but Mark, Ashley , Clive and Harry delivered on our wishes in a precise and professional manner. Since moving in Norvett has continued to provide us with support and we will continue to ask them to help us out with any additional work in the future.”

Bedroom Lighting
“Needed some updating on my bedroom lighting. Mark and his electricians came in and they had to move about 1/2 ton of “stuff” in the attic before installing some lovely directional recessed lights for the room. Made a very good job and were prompt and courteous. Would use them again.”

Developer
“As a developer and a landlord we always use Norvett for our electrical work. Mark always keeps us up date with the latest technologies, regulatory requirements and cost effective solutions to whatever works are required.
This inevitably leads to cost savings down the line. As well as a prompt and friendly service, any works are left tidy and clean and ultimately durable. I would always recommend Norvett to any client or business partner.”

Business Electrics
“I have been using Norvett Electronics for 11 years now. My businesses, Badgers Tea House and The Dene guest house, are always in need of an electrician.
We can call them up at 7am in the morning, and they will be fixing the fault by 7.30am. From installing lights, alarms, music needs, computer breakdowns/back-ups/diagnostics, telephone systems, PAT testing, and any other electrical installation I would highly recommend Norvett Electronics.
Their professionalism, efficiency and attention to detail is second to none. They have a great team on board- from Wendy who takes our call, to Clive, Ashley, Mick, Harry, and of course the big boss Mark, all of them contribute towards producing a first class electrical service.”

Landlord
“I have been a landlord since 2008, and as a large proportion of our properties are older Victorian buildings, condensation has often been a problem. In flats where there’s been a problem, Norvetts have installed an anti-condensation fan with a humidistat into the bathrooms. As long as the doors are left open (or air vents installed in the doors) the fan moves the air through the property and extracts enough moisture to prevent the condensation. At one particular flat, where there was a major problem with condensation, it’s now not even forming on the windows.”

Rewire and Audio System
“As a professional composer working in film and television, it is essential that the electrical equipment which I use is of a high quality and is reliable. I have been using Norvett Electronics for some time and have found them to meet both these criteria and to have been both efficient and helpful at all times.”

Home Lighting
“Modern houses are like stages, with rooms in which we can project different moods. A single source or type of lighting will not display furniture and colour schemes to their maximum effect. Low lamps over a table for intimate dinners, lights that focus on room features, background lighting for a kitchen at night, all require the same careful thought and design we normally reserve for colour schemes or furniture. And this is what makes Norvett stand out from other electrical contractors, Mark Norman designs lighting to reflect moods and situations and not just illuminate the floor.”

Garage Power and Lighting
“Just wanted to say thank you for the superb job on my Garage Mains connect up. It was a complete pleasure to arrive home, and to find everything completed just how I’d described. Realise working through a 3rd person is not always straight forward. So thanks again for working via dad rather than direct.”
