If your agricultural or industrial premises have electrics, you should have regular electrical testing and inspections. Our electricians in East Sussex offer Periodic Inspection, which should be done at least every 5 years to keep your customers and employees safe. We work across the county, and are often in towns including Alfriston, Lewes, Eastbourne, Hailsham, Seaford and Brighton.
- The Electrical Regulations are regularly updated. By employing qualified and NICEIC registered Norvett electricians, you know they are up to date with changes in the regulations.
- To test each circuit, our electricians need to safely disconnect (and reconnect!) each cable inside the mains board. You may find it preferable to schedule the work for a closed, or quiet, period to save business disruption.
- If the mains board doesn’t comply with regulations, we may advise that we change it at the same time as testing – this is to save you the labour cost of disconnecting the cables twice, once when testing and again to replace the board.
- We would usually make a preliminary visit before testing, so you would know in advance if your mains board was out of date.
